IKARI press-fit pins offer compliant pin elastic designs of the press-fit zone providing stress-free, solderless terminal-to-PCB connectivity suitable for the harshest of automotive environments. Our press-fit pins meet the standardized blade sizes and interfaces of the automotive industry and are Tested according to and exceeding the standards of IEC 60352-5.

 

IKARI started connector development initially from Through Hole (THT) PCB connectors, and today we have mature manufacturing process as well as inspection capability to ensure the best quality of products. Traditionally, through-hole technology (THT) was used to construct the vast majority of PCBs. Through-hole technology involves inserting components with tails or leads into holes drilled in the PCB. The leads can then be soldered onto pads or lands on the underside of the board, usually with a wave solder process.

 

IKARI offers SMT connectors that are reliably terminated with a robust and consistent process and that the connectors do not become detached from the board. IKARI ensures accurate alignment of the surface mount contacts onto the PCB pad and consistent soldering.
