IKARI Mechatronics Industrial (Kunshan) CO., LTD. was founded by IKARI Industrial CO., LTD. (JAPAN), a Japanese company with more than 100 years experience in stamping and electroplating.

IKARI China, as a subsidiary of IKARI Japan, was established in 1994 and has always been benefitting of advanced technology from headquarter in Japan. IKARI China focuses on customized Automotive connectors, as well as insert molding, and precised stamping products.
IKARI China plant is located in Huaqiao, Kunshan, which is around 30km away from both centre of Shanghai, and Hong Qiao Airport. Furthermore, IKARI has set up a trading sales branch- Shanghai Zhenjing Trading Co., Ltd, where we have professional staff to deal with import&export process, as well as financial process.

IKARI has obtained TS16949 certificate as early as 2009, and obtained IATF certificate in 2018 when it replaced TS16949 as the new certificate for automotive industry.
IKARI often gets audits from our European customers according to VDA 6.3 standard.
VDA stands for Verband der Automobilindustrie. VDA 6.3 defines a process-based audit standard for evaluating and improving controls in a manufacturing organization’s new product introduction and manufacturing processes.
VDA 6.3 caters to the automotive industries originating in Germany and the requirements of the German automotive companies are unique and complex. They have similarities with other automotive standards but not in its entirety.
In the present day’s race to out beat others, the time required between concept to manufacturing has become very short hence the demand for adherence to the standard has increased.
The German automobile industry has made it mandatory that Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers to them must comply with and get certified to VDA.
